The Brantford site continues to be very busy. We are two years young as of November
2000. Our caseload is now over 1200
clients. Our clinical team is composed
of Dr. Monture who is on site 4 days a week, 2 full time Nurse Practitioners,
Barb L’Ami and Judi MacLeod, and 1 part time Nurse Practitioner, Miriam
Reed. Sandee Martin is our

Plans are in progress to offer more off-site services and to
further explore community partnership opportunities in the new year. A new project will be preschool vision and
hearing screening in partnership with the Pine Tree Native Centre. Current off-site services have included the
hepatitis B & C screening at Ganohkwa’Sra Family Assault Support Services
and the ongoing Diabetic Healing Circles with SOADI (Southern Ontario
Aboriginal Diabetes Initiative) and Pine Tree Native Centre. We continue to offer the “Toes are Us”
program for regular foot care every two weeks.
The Needle Exchange Program in partnership with Pine Tree Native Centre
and the Brant County Public Health Unit has been up and running since spring of
this year. Read the column on the
Needle Exchange for more information.
We are looking forward to another fulfilling busy year with
